Robbery at the Beckhams'

Well, apparently Los Angeles Galaxy star player David Beckham and wife Victoria were robbed of valuable goods. According to reports two housekeepers took priceless pieces from the 'Beckingham Palace' as it is other called in Sawbridgeworth, about 30 miles to the northeast of London. Some personal items that were reportedly stolen included football boots, sportswear and designer clothes which were then put up for sale on Internet auction site eBay.

Police confirmed that they had arrested two people, a 56-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man from Essex, on suspicion of theft from a private address in Sawbridgeworth after officers were alerted last Friday. Though it is not explicitly stated that they are the crooks but by the looks of it and guessing ,my guess would be that they are the culprits.

The Beckhams' currently live in a $22 million Beverly Hills mansion but maintain the 'Beckingham Palace' as a base in London.

O.J's Guilty this Time

Well, the verdict is in and O.J. Simpson has found himself in another hot mess again. The former football star was found guilty of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges which now makes him liable to face the possibility of life imprisonment. Jurors found Simpson guilty late Friday evening after more than 13 hours of deliberating and he has since been taken into custody for sentencing slated for December 5. But how guilty is O.J. Simpson? According to his lawyer Yale Galanter one of the biggest concerns was to ensure that there were no prejudices towards Simpson after being freed of all charges more than a decade ago for the murder of his ex-wife and companion. Nevertheless humans are humans and it does not matter how severe screening for the jurors for this case was because there is always that person(s) who will have conviction for you and will not stop until there beliefs are immortalised. Hello, people tell lies o.k. and they will do that just to be one of the jurors. I am not saying he is guilty or innocent but a FAIR trial should be given and a juror should know how to separate their personal feelings from the facts to carry out justice effectively. Galanter has expressed that he and his team will file an appeal with the hopes of getting a new trial.

Bernie Mac Dies at 50

Comedian and actor Bernie Mac born Bernard Jeffrey McCullough on Oct. 5, 1957 in Chicago dies at age 50. Unbelievable as it sounds it is true. I am sure he warmed the hearts of many through his television show The Bernie Mac Show where he often broke the the "fourth wall" to address the camera saying "C'mon, America," and "When I say I wanna kill those kids, YOU know what I mean". Of course, he is well noted for his incredible appearance in movies like Ocean's Eleven, Bad Santa and Guess Who. It is reported that Bernie Mac died in a Chicago area hospital this morning from complications due to pneumonia, according to his publicist Danica Smith in a statement. He was said to be ill suffering from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. Mac was recently hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.

He is one of those rare gems and great entertainer. Gone too soon but not forgotten. A rose for angel.

Are the Rumours True?

Is Soulja Boy having a Soulja Baby?
There have been speculation that Soulja Boy Tell'em is going to have a Soulja Baby. Rumour has it that he 'super soaked' a 19 year old Atlanta girl and now refuses to take her calls and answer her text messages. It is also alleged that this girl is planning to take legal actions against him. If it is true then his actions towards this girl so far are really messed up and he deserves to pay.

Is Eddie the Daddy?

Another Eddie Murphy drama about paternity. This man needs to stand up better yet just say whether or not he has slept wth whoever this girl and do not embarass his self again like when he denied being the father last year to that the Spice Girl Mel. But as you paternity told another story. Lets watch and see how this one turns out.

VH1 is Whack

If no one has realised that all of VH1's supposed "reality" dating

shows all have a part 2 to them. First it was the Flava of Love

show then I love New York and now Bret Michaels Rock of Love.

I just think it is ridiculous that it just so happens that for all of

these 3 shows each individual did not find love in the person

they chose or there is some twisted reunion for example, in I love New York where she got dumped on national television and that it is just so convenient to have a part 2. If it was not for Flava

Flav then there would not have

been an I Love New york show so this show is derived from Flava Flav because she is so feisty and did not get chosen as the person he wants to spend life with. All I am saying is that they need to getmore creative and stop B***S****ing the viewers in showing crap and unrealistic things.

Whitney Houston is Finally Free

It is official and true that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown are no longer Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown no more. Reports over the weekend stated that Whitney got full custody of their daughter Bobby Kristina, that she wasnow man less better yet and Mr. Bobby Brown was no where to be seen in court. Finally the diva has gotten rid of her 'dead beat' husband who has slowly caused the demise of her life and career over the numerous years that they have been married. Miss Houston I am praying for you in hoping that you fully recover, find yourself a good man but before you do that I hope you find you first and then take over the music fraternity like a storm.

DEATH IN HOLLYWOOD PT3

Finally the supposed mystery of Anna Nicole Smith's death is over, thank God. I was wondering how long they would have taken to release her exact cause of death and stop everyone from speculating. Well, Dr. Joshua Perper on Monday at a press briefing revealed that "Anna Nicole Smith accidentally overdosed on at least nine prescription drugs — including a powerful sleep syrup she was known to swig right out of the bottle — after a miserable last few days in which she endured stomach flu, a 105-degree fever, pungent sweating and an infection on her buttocks from repeated injections...in the days leading up to Smith's death, the 39-year-old had been taking large amounts of the seldom-prescribed sedative chloral hydrate, which also contributed to the 1962 overdose death of Smith's idol Marilyn Monroe". Dr. Perper went on to say that Smith could have been saved if she had only gone to the hospital a few days before she died. All in all Anna Nicole Smith died from a drug overdose from her medications and there appears to be no sign of foul play that could have caused her death. Stern seems to have gotten lucky this time but lets see how lucky he is when the paternity test results are revealed of who is Dannielyns father.

DEATH IN HOLLYWOOD PT 2

There has been numerous speculation as to the cause of death of the late Anna Nicole Smith. Though no theory has been proven, investigations and interviews are being conducted. This reminds me of another O.J Simpson case that is, the female partner dies and nobody is to blame like many unsolved mysteries. It is strange how Howard K. Stern just always happen to be at the right place at the right time... lol... Well in his case it can be an unfortunate thing. I am not saying that he killed her but just not to rule out the possibility of him doing it more so, because it does seem weird that he was present when both Anna and her son died.

It was also stated that there were medications in the room that were prescribed for Stern that Smith may have been taking them. From the investigations into her son's death, earlier reports have stated that Stern had flushed some pills down the toilet when Smith's son died five (5) months ago in Bahamas. Why would he have done this if he was not guilty of something? Rumour has it that her death was caused from a drug overdose of methadone, the same drug which killed Anna's son in early September last year. I do agree with Anna Nicole Smith's sister, Donna Hogan, that Stern should take some blame in her sister's death and I go further to say if he did not do it then he should not be blamed. People like her bodyguard, her nurse and Howard Stern need to start talking. So far no cause of death has been established and the relevant authorities are working vigilantly to unravel this mystery.

DEATH IN HOLLYWOOD

Thirty nine (39) years old Anna Nicole Smith is dead. The former playmate, playmate of the year and a spokesperson for Trimspa was pronounced dead thursday afternoon. Miss Smith was staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in the Florida area with the alleged father of her daughter, Howard K. Stern when she died. According to reports from Fox News, her sister Donna Hogan believes that Howard Stern is somewhat responsible for her sister’s death.

Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward County Medical Officer was called in to perform the autopsy and press briefing in Fort Lauderdale where Anna Nicole Smith’s body is being held. Dr. Perper revealed that at approximately 1:00pm Smith was found unconscious in her hotel room by her supposed nurse. His report continued to explain that Smith had been sick with stomach flu several days before and appeared to be “virtually dead upon arrival at the hospital at approximately 2:40pm”. Her autopsy revealed that she had minor bruises on her back which were related to a fall she had in the shower or bath tub a few days ago. Dr. Perper further went on to state that there was some amount of blood in Anna’s stomach in which he concluded that it was caused from a terminal shock shortly before she died.

No pills or drugs have been found in her stomach however, the doctor has not ruled out the possibilities of an overdose. Though more tests are needed to find out the exact cause of death Dr. Perper did identify three (3) major possibilities as the cause of death, these are natural cause, medication and a combination of both. So far no physical evidence has been found as the cause of death and full test results will take 3 -5 weeks.

The late Anna Nicole Smith recreated herself in late 2000 when she became a spokesperson for Trimspa and her famous lines “Trimspa Baby!”

PART 2: Who’s Playing in Your Stereo in 07?

Young Joc, Young Jeezy and Jim Jones really ‘spit’ some hardcore, crazy, grave lyrics and if their songs were lacking anything, their videos surely made up for it. Jim Jones’ remix for ‘Ballin’ is just as great as the original. The remix features some top artistes in the hip hop game such as Diddy and Baby and younger acts like T.I, Juelz Santana and Young Dro. Game came back this year with a bang and it does not hurt that he has collaborated with one of reggae’s greatest artiste Junior Reid in his song ‘One Blood’. Not to leave out my Caribbean comrades who created quite a buzz in 06 that is, Rihanna (from Barbados) and Sean Paul (from Jamaica). Rihanna’s song ‘Unfaithful’ definitely brought me back to some memories I had when I was cheating a few years ago and I am still enjoying that song but I am behaving now. There are a few favourites that I blast on the speakers from Sean Paul’s album such as ‘Temperature’ and ‘We Be Burning’. I am not a Beyonce fan but her songs “Ring the alarm’ and ‘Irreplaceable’ are surely any man’s warning not to ‘cross’ his girlfriend. Akon’s single with Snoop Dog called ‘I wanna love you’ has this Jamaican flavour to it with the dancing and it is something you can dance to in the club. Ciara’s song ‘Promise’ definitely took over BET’s 106 & Park and I am still listening and dancing to it. Unlike her I am unavailable and the promises she sings about I already made them to someone special. Well, the last person that is playing from the car stereo is Lloyd featuring Lil Wayne in a song called ‘You’. This guy Lloyd is cute and the boy can sing it is strange that he has been in the music business since he was 11 and he is just being known to the world 10 years later. None the less that song ‘You’ is great and it is no harm that he is so handsome and Lil Weezy is looking hot too. Even though some of these songs came late in the year they still created and left an impact and imprint in the music industry. These young acts and veterans are definitely to be watched for in 2007.

PART 1: Who’s Playing in Your Stereo in 2007?

A new year has start but there are still good, ‘hot’, nice songs or albums from 06 that are still blasting from your speakers. That is, those songs that you have to play loud and sing along to either when you’re cruising alone or hanging out with your friends or crew. I still have Neyo’s ‘Sexy Love’ playing because that’s a ‘hot’ song right there that sends chills up my spine and makes me want to just slow wine. His performance back here in Jamaica was great! Mary J. Blige’s album is still doing well and that Ludacris collaboration with her is a great song but I think the ending is misleading. T.I’s album ‘King’ is just one ‘crazy’ album; it is one of the best albums for 2006 and one of the best I have heard in awhile. I am currently listening to track 16 which is ‘Hello featuring Governor’ because someone dedicated it to me. It is kind of like a ‘thug’ love song, one that talks about a guy missing his ex-girlfriend, reminiscing about the good times they had and why he is still calling her. This was definitely a year for new artiste and Chris Brown definitely took the prize for the best new act. His songs are great and his videos are even better. They certainly make you want to get up and dance and that song ‘Goodbye’ makes you really want to think and evaluate your relationship. Even though Mariah Carey’s album ‘Emancipation of Mimi’ was released in 2005 she still made an impact in the music world for 2006. It does not matter if her albums were 10 years old because her songs are always good and she is always playing in the stereo. I also do listen to a bit of rock and roll and Green Days and All American Rejects absolutely kept me entertained for the year and earned the privilege of being played so much in my car.
